Day: 1

I am just a simple girl trying to find my way through life. I wake up everyday with a smile on my face (well at least I try to, haha) ready to face that day's challenges. I do not like having an expectation of needing to measure up to anyone else than myself and I like to get things done my way. I enjoy crafting, sewing, decorating, cooking, and anything else that sounds like it could be a blast!

I am a pretty busy girl these days as I am attending school full time at the community college here in my small town and desperately trying to keep up my daily duties here in the home. I love my husband with all my heart; he truly is my guidance in all things I do. I am member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and I have an honest testimony that it is true and I believe it all. I know that without the Lord in my life I would be nothing and that I would not have all of the many remarkable blessings in my life.

I have wanted to "blog" for quite some time but I have never really gotten around to it. The reason I finally decided to start a blog was that I wanted a place to go to so that I could express and be honest to myself . I needed something that was just ME and no one else. My husband and I have a family blog but I wanted have a blog where I was the sole decision maker. I am excited to start this new and exciting chapter in my life and see where it can potentially take me. I look forward to sharing my surprising finds, unique inspiration, craft ideas, the tasty recipes I gave a try, and being able to just be myself and talk about the crazy, yet hilarious events that occur in my life.
