Oh, did I mention that I made the cut for the musical Edges! I am so very excited and our first rehersal is this Wednesday! I am a little nervous though because I have not been in a musical or play for many years. I have been listening to the soundtrack all weekend and I am already in love and can't wait!
As I promised, I am going to show you what one of my many DIY projects I have done in the recent past. A few months back when I bought that credenza at that thrift store, I also happened to pick up a cheap mirror as well. I bought it for only $10 bucks since it was pretty ugly. This is what it looked like when I brought it home:

I went down to the local hardware store here in town and bought one can of Rust-Oleum’s Painter’s Touch Ultra Cover 2x Spray Paint in Gloss Sun Yellow:
I unscrewed the mirror from the back of the frame and got right to work. I did three coats of the spray paint and when it was completly dry I put the mirror back in. Here is what my finished product looks like:![]() |
I love my "new" mirror! I enjoy it every day when I walk through my living room and get to see what I did to make it my very own. I love DIY projects because no two projects are exactly the same and each one has its own character.
