A Little More About Me

The last couple of days I have had shin splints that hurt so bad. Thank goodness it is the weekend though so that I can be able to rest and let my leg heal. I had them in high school and I forgot how much they suck. Every step I take I feel like my tibia is cracking deeper and deeper and about to snap completely.

The fun part of my weekend though is that we had some family come up to visit. I love being able to sit down in my in-laws family room and catch up with everyone and see where they all are in their lives. It is always so fun to see my nieces and nephew. I have a new niece and nephew that are only about three months old and it is so amazing how much their sweet little spirits bring to this world. I can't wait to start a family of my own and be a mother.

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. It is part of the Metro Phoenix area, so I'm pretty much a city girl. My husband, John, and I got married a little over two years ago on November 24, 2009 in Mesa at the beautiful reception hall, Regency Garden.

On our one year anniversary we were sealed together for time and for all eternity in the Mesa Arizona LDS Temple. It was such an amazing feeling knowing that even after death, we will be together forever.

We are loving every day of marriage! Is it difficult sometimes? Heck yes. Is it worth it? Heck yes. I couldn't imagine being without him. We have had many challenges in our marriage already but I know that each trial brings us closer together as a couple and I wouldn't want it any other way.

Today, we have two little doggies that we love as our own children. The darker one is named Patsi. She is half Chihuahua and half Beagle. The lighter colored one is named Caleb. He is a Welsh Corgi and he sure is a mommas boy!  I love being able to just snuggle up on the couch on a Sunday afternoon and be with my family.
