I Promise I Won't Turn Emo

I figured with all the changes occurring in my life right now; I should change my hair color too! I have been bleach blonde, dirty blonde, light brown, chestnut brown, dark auburn, and to even some crazy pink colored streaks in my hair. I have never gone completely black though because I have always been told that it would probably look too harsh on me. However, I have finally decided to do something I want to do and give it a try. If it came out looking terrible then no worries, I could just change it!

Well, I did it. I used to always pay to get my hair done professionally, but a hundred bucks to fork over right now is WAY out of our price range so I took the plunge and did it myself, well with John's help. While we were in Mesa a week and a half ago, I stopped in at Sally's Beauty Supply and picked out the darkest hair color I could find, "Jet Black":

I had the hair color for a week sitting on our bathroom counter because I was too nervous to finally just get-er-done! On Friday, I couldn't take it any longer since it seemed like the bottle was staring me down and luring me to it, haha.

I absolutely LOVE my new hair color, especially since all of the supplies to color it myself was only ten bucks! It is such an amazing feeling to have a "fresh" look and have that little boost of self-confidence.
